I had an old MacBook Air that that current operating system had bogged down. Reading that Linux could breathe new life into old computers I decided to give it a try. A search on Google turned up Gre Tek Systems as a Linux Systems professional and I sent an inquiry through their web page. Glenn contacted me promptly and offered to take a look at my computer. I brought it to his shop and we discussed the various distributions that could be installed. He listened to what I wanted, the type of software I needed to run and patiently answered all my questions. He installed a Linux desktop and even dropped the computer by my house on his way to an appointment. Excellent service. Picked my computer up at lunchtime where I work and it was done by the time I was headed home. Helped to reassure me that my world was not going to come to an end because my computer had some malware on it. With a laptop breakdown on a Saturday, of a holiday weekend, hopes of quick recovery were slim, and there were matters of urgency that needed to be addressed.
I did a search and found Glenn at Gre Tek Systems. By this time it was 1:00 on Saturday afternoon. To my utter amazement, Glenn asked what issues we were experiencing, then told me to bring the laptop by for him to evaluate. By 5:00pm that day… an hour past his closing time, we picked up a functioning laptop.

I’m sure circumstance had a role, with Glenn’s work allowing him flexibility, but Glenn could easily told us to drop the computer off and pick it up Monday or Tuesday. We felt that he took a personal interest in helping us, and he was very easy going and welcoming.

My laptop crashed. It was locked up where the screen wouldn’t move. I had spent hours on chat with Microsoft to no avail. I called up Glenn, and brought the laptop over. It was a crashed Win 10 Pro OS and the hard drive had died. Glenn fixed it quickly, recovered most of my files, added a new gaming hard drive, and put the OS back.
