So, this business client in Asheville reached to me about his project dilemma. He wanted to know if it’s possible to dual boot fresh copies of two operating system on one laptop. Having install a dual boot computers for years with Linux operating systems but not with just two Windows© O/S. In IT environments, having both Windows© 10 and 11 available on a single device can streamline compatibility testing, client support, and workflow efficiency.
Setting up a dual boot on a ©Dell laptop for my client is a practical solution. I backed up all his data before I started this. He had a new ©Dell laptop with 11 installed. So I downloaded both 10 and 11 iso images to burn and install. Wiped the hard drive and partitioned it. I installed 10 first seeing that it was the older and then installed 11.
After the install of both we rebooted the menu showing both login option was there. We transferred the data to both operating systems and this client was super happy with this solution!
